Please reach out to us at thrivehsco@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Every spring we host Interest Meetings where you can visit our location, meet several Board members and learn all about our co-op. Our interest meetings have been held and enrollment is underway for the 2025-26 school year. Space is very limited. If you'd like to join our waitlist should a space become available or would like to be contacted when enrollment reopens next spring, simply fill out our waitlist form and we'll be in touch! Thank you for your interest in Thrive!
All families who are legally homeschooling in North and South Carolina may apply to be a member of Thrive. This does not include families who are using virtual/K-12 online schooling.
Families are encouraged to attend an Interest Meeting where you will learn all about Thrive and have an opportunity to have your questions answered. Following the meeting, if you are interested in applying, we will email you a link to fill out an application and pay your application fee. Once the application and fee is received, the Board will review them in the order they were received. If we are able to place your family, we will notify you of your acceptance. If we are not, you will be notified and a refund will be issued for your application fee.
Current Fee Structure:

Thrive Homeschool Co-op is a Christ-centered community that strives to encourage, support, and educate our children with Protestant Christian values and beliefs. We do require our lead teachers to be Christian and sign a statement of faith; however, our members are not required to have a specific belief system or sign a statement of faith.

We offer core and elective classes for grades K-12. Class offerings are subject to change each year based on teacher availability and student interests/needs. Check out a sample of class offerings here.
In the spring, once current teachers and the Board have chosen which classes will be offered for the new school year, we will publish class options for all members. Each week there are three class periods for elementary students (four class periods for middle/high school students) and a lunch/recess period. You may choose one class for each period for each child. Each class is offered for the entire school year, September to April. Check out a sample of class offerings here.
For students taking high school level courses, we issue grades using Canvas so that parents can count classes on their student's high school transcript.
As a courtesy to our members, we offer nursery and pre-k classes for children birth to age 4. Per our policy, this service is only available for families who have the same number of or more children in our K-12 classes than they have in the nursery and pre-school combined.
Thrive is a parent-led homeschool cooperative where parents take on the roles of lead teacher, assistant teacher, floater/substitute, pre-school teacher, and/or nursery worker. We cannot operate without our families! Parents are expected to remain on campus for the entirety of co-op. Therefore we are not a "drop-off" program; however, we will consider your request for a 7th-12th grade student drop-off for extenuating circumstances on a case by case basis. If your request is approved, your tuition rate will be $275 per semester.
